Join us in the discussion of The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina Henriquez

We meet once a month on the second Tuesday of the month at 2 pm. This is a hybrid event. You may join us at the library or via zoom.

Summary of this month's book: When fifteen-year-old Maribel Rivera sustains a terrible injury, the Riveras leave behind a comfortable life in Mexico and risk everything to come to the United States so that Maribel can have the care she needs. Once they arrive, it’s not long before Maribel attracts the attention of Mayor Toro, the son of one of their new neighbors, who sees a kindred spirit in this beautiful, damaged outsider. Their love story sets in motion events that will have profound repercussions for everyone involved.

To take part in the discussion, please email cloverdale@sonomalibrary.org or register for this event. You should receive an email confirming your participation and another email closer to the event with a link if you choose to join us virtually.

* Books are available at the Cloverdale Library.
