Explore the brand new Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be in front of Charles Street Village senior housing from 1-2pm.

This outdoor, in-person event will feature tabling by local zine-makers, artists, and creators; hands-on crafts; and live zine making and screen printing workshops, as well as the Sonoma County Library’s Bibliobus!

Come paint your own stylized picture frame, taught by Oaxacan artist Irma Rodriguez. Participants will experiment with special techniques that are used in making Alebrijes. All materials provided. For teens in grades 7-12.

Learn all about Sonoma County bat species and make a felt bat puppet to take home. All materials provided. For kids in grades K-6.

Sonoma County Taiko has been bringing the thunderous excitement of Taiko to Sonoma County since 1995.

Join us for an exciting ‘escape room’ experience at the library!

The clock is ticking, can you escape in time? Teens must work together to solve puzzles, open locks, and find hidden messages in order to complete the mission. 

Join us as a beginner or an experienced knitter who wants to learn new techniques, make new friends, and help other students.

In this panel, we'll hear from zinemakers who create work to share inspiring and educational resources with their communities. Many trans people, disabled people and BIPOC face barriers to safe, culturally-responsive healthcare access.

This workshop introduces teens to the essential elements of Chinese Calligraphy, including how to hold the brush, basic strokes, and simple words. Led by Nancy Wang and Judy Cheung of the Redwood Empire Chinese Association.

Celebrate Día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day)!

In this workshop you will get a quick tour of our fully equipped letterpress shop.

UPDATE: This event will now be bilingual in Spanish and English

Bring an object (book, photograph, anything! Even objects from within the library) and share it with members of the community.

Queer Book Club

Meets virtually the second Wednesday of the month!

April 12- Everyone in This Room Will Someday be Dead

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.

The Rohnert Park – Cotati Library will start hosting regular library commission meetings in the Armando Flores Room. The Sonoma County Library Commission is an 11-person body responsible for governing the library.

Enjoy the library Hygge style with soft music, tea, and coziness in the main reading room.
