November 8th - As the weather turns colder and wetter here in Sonoma, we’ll be embracing the season with cozy, casual meals. Think hearty soups, comforting stews, oven-baked favorites, and maybe even a few warm drinks or sweet treats to share. If you have a cherished family recipe, we’d love for you to share it! And if you're looking for inspiration, don’t forget, we have a great selection of cookbooks available at the library.
December - We’ll be taking a little break so you can enjoy sharing your recent culinary creations with loved ones. Whether it’s a tried-and-true favorite or something new you’ve whipped up, we hope your table is full of warmth, joy, and good company.
January 10th Spice up the New Year Challenge! Fragrant, flavorful, and full of warmth cardamom is a winter kitchen essential! This spicy-sweet gem from the ginger family adds cozy depth to everything from curries and baked goods to coffee and chai. Try a new recipe featuring cardamom and bring a little extra warmth to your seasonal cooking. Need ideas? We’ve got plenty of cookbooks waiting for you at the library!
