West County High School GSA (Gender & Sexuality Alliance) will host a Parent/Family Training on LGBTQIA+ Issues.

The GSA Club at West County High School is collaborating with LGBTQ Connection to provide Sonoma County parents/caregivers/adults in our community with insight, resources, and tips for supporting their LGBTQIA+ identified children. This event is free to any adult in our community who is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how to be a supportive ally and more effective caregiver for our LGBTQIA+ youth. The training will be youth-led by the amazing members of WCHS's GSA Club who are able to provide their unique perspectives and suggestions as LGBTQIA+ teenagers. The Sebastopol Library will provide an array of library books related to this topic, as well as a button-making station to make pronoun pins!

Contact Rosalie Abbott at the Sebastopol Library for more information.
