1. CONVENING & INTRODUCTIONS
Present: Judy Gerstle, Vinode (Vin) Mahraj, Eleanor McFarlin, Mike Neely

3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE PRIOR MEETING
Approved.
4. REPORTS & UPDATES
Reports and updates on library governance, management, programs, services, and support group activities as well as City Council activities. All items are for discussion only.
4.1. LIBRARY COMMISSIONER'S REPORT
Commission looking at budget for next year. Budget workshop available online. JPA is up for renewal this year. Survey upcoming to voters to gauge interest in support for tax measure. Visited CA representatives on the Appropriation committee. Public Library Foundation working on grant
4.2. LIBRARY DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Hoeft, Doyle, and Bradds provided an overview of recent Library activities.
4.3. BRANCH MANAGER’S REPORT
Hoeft provided an overview of recent branch activities and statistics
4.4. TOWN COUNCIL LIAISON'S REPORTS
Evacuation map shown. HWY 101 O RWD highway impact coming up. SMART construction upcoming to complete train track. Overview of Library and Town partnerships including Reach for Home. Town website under review for website redesign. Questions from LAB regarding Discussion about several local construction projects.
4.5. FRIENDS OF THE WINDSOR LIBRARY REPORT
Neff provided overview of Friends of the Library, and fundraising process. Friends sponsoring band on upcoming Summer Concert series. Library will be tabling at a concert series. Overview of book sales at farmer’s market.
5. DISCUSSION ITEMS
5.1. AMMENDING BY-LAWS
Reduce quorum to three. Move to change voting members to 5.
Move and approval to meet bi-monthly starting July 1.
5.2. OPTIONS FOR COMMUNITY SURVEY
Provided overview of recent community survey. Windsor Park Apartments. 47 participants. Low-income housing. Discussion about balancing surveys with younger demographic. QR code as insert into utility bill. Insider—bi-weekly Town email.
5.3. OPTIONS FOR SPENDING FISCAL YEAR LAB FUNDS
$500 for LAB to spend. Discussion about outreach and open house. Proposal and approval
5.4. POTENTIAL DATES FOR A SPECIAL MEETING
June 18th 4:00 PM – Special meeting
