Rain gardens aren't just beautiful, aesthetically pleasing landscapes -- they also help recharge ground water and reduce pollution by minimizing runoff from your landscape. They provide habitat for butterflies, birds, and other pollinators while building soil health. During these times of drought and climate crisis, rain gardens serve as an important design tool to help conserve our precious water resource.
Join us for this FREE program to learn how to design and install your own rain garden! This event will be in-person, but you can also tune in online. For those who attend in person, there will be a tour of the Petaluma Library Rain Garden from 5:30-6:00 and the presentation for both in-person and online guests will be from 6:00-7:00.
