Do you have questions about basic computer skills, digital library resources, email, internet basics, basic computer troubleshooting, or other technology-related issues?  Come to Northwest and a library staff member will assist you!

Welcome to Bilingual Family Storytime for ages 0-5 at Central Santa Rosa Library! Reading, singing, and dancing together build skills that support reading and learning later on in school.

Because the library will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, we will have a take-home craft for Create Teen! this week. The kit will need to be picked up by 5:45pm on Wednesday, November 23rd.

Join us for a fun family bilingual (Spanish/English) storytime. Books, music, movement and a craft!

This program will be held inside the library. 

Join your local librarian in singing, reading, and playing together to build early literacy skills and a joy of reading. 

Stay and Play (ages 0-6)

Come to “Stay and Play” Explore our toys, puzzles, building blocks and more!

Decorate a sugar skull in celebration of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with Elsa Tapia. For kids in grades K-6. Space is limited; please sign up online or call your local library.

This program is presented in Spanish.

Join children's author Tenisha Bernal for Little Chef's First 100 Words, a book that introduces babies and toddlers to items that can be found in the heart of the home: the kitchen.

Mr. Music will bring easy to learn songs, body rhythms, and ear training with Octave the “Singing Dog”. For grades K-3.

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

We provide the treats, you bring a spirit of adventure and curiosity about the world.

Join us for an afternoon of crafts and fun!

Come craft every 4th Wednesday of the month in the Forum Room.

Drop in anytime between 2:30-4pm.

Celebrate the season at our annual gingerbread house workshop for teens! Choose from festive candy, graham crackers, and frosting to create a holiday masterpiece you can take home. Free for teens in grades 5-12. All materials provided.

Listen to stories about plants and flowers, paint your own mini terracotta pot, fill it with dirt, plant a few chia seeds, and take it home to watch it grow!

All materials provided. For grades K-6. 

Learn about 3D printing and how you can use our 3D printer at the library! Class led by digital design instructor Lindsay Hunter. Space is limited; advance registration required. For grades 4-6.

Looking to get involved in local climate action?

Come hang out with other teens and tweens every 4th Wednesday of the month. The library will host with a box of Universal Yums.
