FEBRUARY Let’s Talk English Conversation Classes on WEDNESDAYS 11:00 – 12:30 pm 

First Class Meets: February 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (US and Canada) 

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at Windsor Regional Library on February 5 from 11am-5pm while the mini library in the meeting room of the Windsor Library is closed due to construction.

Get assistance from experienced Sonoma County Genealogical Society volunteers every Wednesday and Friday, 1 PM - 3 PM. 

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Come hang out at the library afterschool!  Work on homework, socialize with friends, do arts and crafts and more. We'll provide tables and chairs, office supplies, some board games, and basic arts and crafts supplies.

Read to a Dog

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Drop in from 2:30-3:30 on Wednesdays and play games with other teens. Options include various board games and Nintendo Switch. Free snacks!

Kids and teens fostering a love of reading—together!

Book Buddies is for kids in grades K-3 and takes place at the Healdsburg Elementary School Library Learning Commons. 

Session 1: 3PM-3:30PM
Session 2: 3:45PM-4:15PM

Transform the pages of an old book into a beautiful 3D heart shape in this hands-on workshop for tweens. All materials provided.

Grades 4-6.

Hangout Club: Game On (for Teens and Tweens)

Drop in between 3-4pm every 1st Wednesday of the month for gaming.

Do you want to volunteer at the library? Every Wednesday we offer weekly drop-in volunteer hours from 3:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers assist with library tasks. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service! 

Discover a new country through music, trivia, and the best snacks and candies they have to offer.

We provide the treats, you bring a spirit of adventure and curiosity about the world!

For grades 7-12. While supplies last!

Teen Knitting Club (Grades 7-12)

This event will be in Room 4 of the Healdsburg Community Center.

Our last session will focus on postproduction skills. We’ll bring together all of the elements we’ve learned over the past weeks—live recording, interviews, narration, music, and natural sounds—to script and edit the podcast.
