Local nonprofit Better Beginnings for Babies will host these dynamic community circles supporting infant feeding and the postpartum journey. Everyone gets a chance to share. Facilitated by lactation specialists or consultants. No fee.

Local volunteer attorneys offer free legal information and referral for matters of civil and employment law only. These lawyer consultations will last up to 20 minutes. 

On a quarterly basis, Sebastopol Regional Library will host Social Service Day, where local organizations with public service missions will table in the forum room to support community needs. 

Learn technical skills and use quality beading materials to make—and take home!—a pair of drop dangle earrings. All supplies included. Grades 7-12.

Practice reading aloud with one of the sweet dogs from Paws as Loving Support (PALS). Young readers will sign up for a reading time during the hour that our dog team is here.

Meets the second Tuesday of the month from 2-3 pm.

Volunteering at the library is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the work environment, support a worthwhile cause, or fulfill community service requirements.

This unique printmaking process involves floating pigment on the surface of thickened water to create patterns that are then transferred onto paper.

We offer Homework Help to students in grades K-12 on Tuesdays from 3:30PM -5:30PM at the library. 

BABYTIME

Join us at Petaluma Regional Library for Babytime! We'll read, sing, bounce, tickle, and play music. This program is intended for babies and their caregivers.

Join us monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4pm for a French storytime filled with stories, songs, and more!

When you register and arrive at the library for the Spanish First Chapter Book Club, Librarian Serena will have copies of the book we will read and a snack. Children can read aloud, read along, or just listen and enjoy.

Learn to knit basic stitches to make fun and useful projects.

Needles and yarn are supplied. Sessions include a simple pattern for you to keep and practice on.
