Program Type:Arts & Music, Enrichment, Library & Community
Age Group:Teens (Grades 7-12)
Join us as a beginner or an experienced knitter who wants to learn new techniques, make new friends, and help other students. We will support knitters in gaining the skills needed to achieve their own goals, whether that is making garments, accessories, designing their own patterns, or just simply having fun and de-stressing with a meditative project.
Meetings are loosely structured, offering plenty of time for folks to hang out and work on their own projects with all the help and guidance they need.
Every season we will collaborate with a local organization to contribute knit items for donation, giving our knitters the opportunity to use their skills to give back to the community in a meaningful way. Basic supplies are provided, though students may wish to obtain specific supplies on their own for individual projects.
Registration will be limited to 12 teens.
