In this workshop you will get a quick tour of our fully equipped letterpress shop. You will then select cover stock pre printed with various letterpress patterns, add blank sheets, saddle stitch (staple), bone fold, and cut corners to create a nice blank journal or sketchbook.     

North Bay Letterpress Arts is a nonprofit group based in Sebastopol, California whose purpose is to educate the public in the art and history of letterpress printing by maintaining an authentic printshop for training and common use. The means of education include classes, shop tours, literary and artistic events and publications.

The executive director, Andrew Mecum, spent two decades working in the skateboard industry and has a degree in printmaking. He is passionate for all DIY zine type independent outspoken honest forthrite creative endeavors. His most recent zine series is called GRAPHITE, under the Pencil Pusher Projects moniker, produced by Push Pull Press.
