Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program at the Sonoma Valley Library!

This event is for beginning readers. 

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish or any language! 

Join our two READ Teams on:

1st and 3rd Sundays, 1:30-2:30

2nd and 4th Mondays, 3:30-4:30

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space. Younger children may have a parent or care-giver assist the child with reading to a dog.

Certified Therapy Dogs are provided by PALS - Paws as Loving Support.
