Details

Meet with a tech savvy staff member to ask your tech questions. This is your opportunity to find answers and learn about a wide variety of things, like how to download library eBooks or watch movies on your tablet and more.  

Things we can help with: 

  • eBooks/eReaders 

  • Basic device overview (how to text, how to take pictures, change settings, etc.) 

  • General internet/research instruction 

  • Research beyond Google 

  • Using library electronic resources 

  • Creating a new email account, email basics 

Things we cannot assist with: 

  • Setting up a new device 

  • Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account 

  • Entering sensitive information for you (e.g., credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.) 

  • Keyboarding, typing, or proofreading documents 

  • Aiding with any issues relating to banking, personal/sensitive information, government filings, or medical documents 

  • Job Applications or résumé help 

  • Cannot provide medical, legal, and business advice or opinions
