Program Description

Join us on the second Thursday of each month at 12:00 PM as we discuss a different book! Print Copies will be available in the branch a month before the discussion. Feel free to call the library or email the Library with any questions.

This month's book is Long Bright River, by Liz Moore! This suspense novel focuses on two sisters, one an addict, the other a police officer, alternating between a present-day mystery one sister is desperate to solve and the story of the sisters' childhood. The New York Times writes, 'Liz Moore’s “Long Bright River" part literary thriller, part family saga, part police procedural...Her careful balance of the hard-bitten with the heartfelt is what elevates “Long Bright River” from entertaining page-turner to a book that makes you want to call someone you love.'

This program is offered in English.
