Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Yayoi Michinaga West as she inspires students in Grades K-12 to enter the NASA Writing Challenge:  Power to Explore.  Yayoi will guide students through the process, show short videos, answer their questions, and distribute handouts.  NASA is asking students to  research Radioisotope Power Systems and dream up a new RPS powered space mission.  They will describe their missions in 200 word essays -- the deadline is January 17th.  Prizes will be awarded for winning entries.  

Presenter Yayoi West is a licensed pilot, and has travelled the world, including the North and South Poles!  She has also been a part of Richard Branson's space exploration efforts in New Mexico.
