Do you love comics and graphic novels, but have trouble putting your ideas into action? Have you always wanted to have your comics published for the world to see?
Starting on February 3rd at LumaCon, join Gio Benedetti, writer and illustrator, for an 8 week comic workshop. In this course, Gio will guide participants through each step in creating, writing, drawing and inking their own original 5-10 page mini-comic.
The class will go over techniques for writing for comics, graphic story-telling concepts, comic layout, materials, and - most importantly - following through to completion!
At the end of the 8 weeks, each participant will have their own 5-10 page mini-comic which will be collected and published as our collective Mini-Comic Anthology, For The Love of Comics Volume 3.
Artists are welcome to work traditionally or digitally. Traditional materials will be provided for all participants. Digital materials must be supplied by the student.
Free for students ages 14-20.
