Program Description
Details
Good Citizens is a program designed to give families an opportunity to talk about potentially challenging topics through the joyful medium of picture books and storytelling. Each month Ms. Adriel from the Sebastopol Library will read a variety of informational and biographical picture books to offer opportunities for children and families to discuss the content and reflect on how their own lives compare to the characters presented in the stories. Our series will cover the ways we support each other in communities and how we participate as citizens by discussing the lives of real people who made their communities strong.
This program is presented as an interactive Zoom bookclub on the fourth Friday of the month and we encourage participation of all ages.
