Details

Stress is proven to deplete the body’s natural resources and diminishes our natural ability to fight disease. In contrast, deep levels of rest through meditation can offer rejuvenating effects on the body, mind, and spirit. Join Lorraine Alexander in a three part series to learn and practice meditation techniques using DASA methodologies.    

Register for the first class to attend all 3 sessions.

Recommended items: yoga mat or towel, water bottle, notepad and pen. 

Session 1: Monday April 3, 10:30 am – Noon  Mindfulness & Meditation: What's the Difference? 1.5 hrs.

Session 2: Monday April 10, 10:30 am – Noon - Creating a Lifestyle of Mind-Body Wellness 1.5 hrs

Session 3: Monday April 17, 10:30 am – 11:30am -  Practice / Q & A / 1 hr.

As executive director of DASA Meditation, Lorraine Alexander leads teachers’ trainings, lectures and teaches meditation. DASA meditation prioritizes education to enhance health, wellness and self-awareness. Lorraine Alexander is a certified DASA non-directive meditation instructor and a graduate of the Sonoma Community Resilience Collaborative.
