CalFresh & Medi-Cal Application Assistance

Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid program. This is a public health insurance program that provides access to health services, including medical and dental care. The program is available for adults, children, pregnant women, older adults and people with disabilities. People who have certain conditions, such as tuberculosis and HIV, might also qualify for Medi-Cal.  

CalFresh is a nutrition assistance program that helps individuals and families buy healthy foods. CalFresh benefits are issued on an EBT card that you can use at most grocery stores or farmers' markets.

The Redwood Empire Food Bank and West County Health Centers will be at the library to provide application assistance and answer questions about these programs. 

This event takes place on the 1st Tuesday of the month in the Guerneville Library Community Room.
