Program Description

Details

Learn sewing and quilting basics: from how to use a machine, thread a needle, and simple quilting. We welcome everybody who wants to learn sewing skills, make new friends, and create. Our community partner, The Santa Rosa Quilt Guild will provide all materials -- fabric, thread, sewing machines, needles, etc. and their expertise -- for free!

In this series of four classes (Sept 8, 15, 22, 29) you will learn how to make a Nine Patch, a Churn Dash, a Shoo-Fly, and more as time and materials allow. IF you have a sewing machine, we STRONGLY encourage you to bring it to the class (with all attachments, pedals, manuals etc.) but it is not necessary or required to have a machine to participate. Please also sign up for the ENTIRE SERIES if you can.
