Want to learn how to best choose a primary care physician or specialist?  Want to figure out how to search for accurate online medical information? Perhaps you want to know how to better advocate for yourself in the medical setting. In this 3 part thirty minute presentation and Q&A series with Dr. Eki'Shola Edwards, you’ll become more informed and will learn several simple strategies on how to navigate the healthcare system.

How to find a primary care provider: You’ll learn tips on how to figure out what medical services you and your family need and how to find them within your community. 

Wednesday, March 16th 11:00am-11:30am
Women’s Health - You’ll learn how to navigate preventive health guidelines. Come away with some tools to help you manage your health needs and feel empowered to get the medical care that you seek. 

Wednesday, April 6th 11:00am-11:30am
How to advocate for yourself in the healthcare setting: Come away with a better understanding of how to have your medical needs met. You’ll learn several tools to help you navigate the clinical setting.
