Details

"Be Who You Are Day" is celebrated yearly at the end of September, featuring the books of queer children's author Todd Parr. Librarians will read aloud from some favorites by Parr, author of over 60 books for kids, such as It's OK to be Different and The Family Book. 

Todd Parr has said of his work, "Children and families...need to see themselves reflected in books in fun, silly, and reassuring ways." 

Costumes are encouraged! Storytime will be followed by play time in the Flores Room.
