The Petaluma History Room along with a group of local Petaluma historians known as Turtle Skull Productions hosts this new documentary of Petaluma’s "Theatrical Entrepreneur," Skip Sommer., . Recruited to town by Mayor Helen Putnam in 1975 to revive the dying downtown, Sommer created the Great Petaluma Mill, filling it with boutique shops and eateries, and kicking off the historic restoration of downtown Petaluma.
