Join our permaculture teacher as we learn about gardening all year long while creating a beautiful and delicious library landscape.

Join us for a sensory, hands-on activity where kids create a miniature ocean    environment in a clear jar to take home.

Join us for a special storytime celebrating the importance of family, diversity, and community. Parents, caregivers, and guardians are welcome to bring their children for an hour of stories, crafts, and exploring what it means to be a family.

Practice reading with a 4PAWS certified therapy dog to improve reading skills and confidence. 

This program is intended for beginning readers in grades K-6. 

This is an In-Person event. 

Come to Game On for Tweens! The Tween Computer Lounge is a place for Tweens to play Nintendo Switch games, or to use a computer to play Roblox and other popular computer games. 

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Drop by the Game Lounge to play video games, study, or just hang with your peers!

Laptops, iPads, and board games will be available to use. 

Grades 4-8

Read to a Dog

Discover a new country every month through music, trivia, and the best snacks and candies they have to offer. We provide the treats, you bring a spirit of adventure and curiosity about the world! 

We offer Homework Help to students in grades K-12 on Tuesdays from 3:30PM -5:30PM at the library. 

Join the children’s librarian to explore the world of fantastic fungi. Observe, smell, and touch local mushrooms and make your own multi-material mushroom garden to take home. For kids in grades K-6. Materials are limited.

All ages welcome!

No experienced necessary. Some instruction available.  Play, learn and enjoy!

Join us for our monthly Puzzle Swap!
Bring a puzzle you've already completed and trade it for a new one — or just come and take one home!

Join us monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4pm for a French storytime filled with stories, songs, and more!

Join us on the 3rd Tuesdays of every month between 4-5pm to make the monthly craft.

This is a passive, self directed event. 

In this class kids will learn hand sewing, and make a fun project to take home, with Wildflower Sewing and Craft Studio.  All supplies provided. No experience required. 

Join us for a monthly Tabletop Role-playing Game Club (TTRPG) on the third Thursday of every month from 4-5pm.

For Tweens and Teens (grades 4-12)

Join us at Lego & Build Club for hands on engineering, problem solving exercises, and play using age-appropriate materials. Younger siblings are welcome to attend and use our collection of Duplo bricks.

Check out this book club for kids who are just beginning to read chapter books. Practice reading aloud or just follow along in your own copy--no pressure! No need to have read the book before the meeting.

Kids and teens fostering a love of reading—together!

Book Buddies is a reading program that pairs students in grades TK-3 with a teen buddy to read together. Children may read in any language they’d prefer.

Are you a curious student who wants to learn computer programming? Or are you an intermediate coder who is looking to take their skills to the next level?

Our bilingual pajama storytime is inclusive and for all ages. Come in pajamas and enjoy stories and songs in Spanish and English.
