The Library wants to hear from you! Everyone who stays, works, or goes to school in Sonoma County can take part in an hour-long community meeting to share your thoughts on how the Library can serve you better.

Get started recording a song, podcast, or story using GarageBand. Learn the basics of how to use the hardware and software in the sound studio.

Mystery Lovers!

Join fellow mystery buffs in lively conversation every third Thursday of the month at the Rohnert Park Senior Center.

No pre-registration or sign-up needed. 

Join us in the community room at the Windsor Regional Library for a storytime designed for toddlers ages 1-3. We will sing, read and play together!

Join us for tea, sit in circle, and share the joys and struggles of motherhood. All are welcome, pregnancy through postpartum & mothers in all stages. Everyone gets a chance to share. 

Local nonprofit Better Beginnings for Babies will host these dynamic community circles supporting infant feeding and the postpartum journey. Everyone gets a chance to share. Facilitated by lactation specialists or consultants. No fee.

Practice reading with a 4PAWS certified therapy dog to improve reading skills and confidence. 

This program is intended for beginning readers in grades K-6.

Smart Strategies for Shopping - Food Labels and Grocery Store Tips

Learn to identify strategies to overcome challenges preventing them from incorporating healthy foods into their everyday meals.

The Sonoma Developmental Center operated from 1891-2018, serving thousands of residents who would today be described as intellectually, developmentally, or physically disabled, mentally ill, and/or behaving outside of social norms

Spanish Family Storytime

Join us for Spanish Family Storytime at the Roseland Library.

Learn and practice early literacy skills with your child.  We will have fun reading, singing, and moving together.

Learn how to showcase your family-friendly (G/PG) photos, videos, podcasts, music, and other audio/video creations on Sonoma County Library’s cable access television channel and YouTube page. 

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at the Cazadero History Learning Center.

Learn to identify and remove invasive plants that are fire fuel and threaten native plants. Then learn to replant the area with native species.

Maintain and regain mobility in this gentle form of yoga that is practiced while sitting on a chair. Gentle strengthening and stretching will be accompanied by breathwork and mindful movement.

Learn sewing: from how to use a machine, thread a needle, and simple quilting. We welcome anybody who wants to learn sewing skills, make new friends, and create.

Play games, hang out, eat snacks, and have fun! Join other teens to play games on the Nintendo Switch

Get assistance from experienced Sonoma County Genealogical Society volunteers every Wednesday and Friday, 1 PM - 3 PM. 

Enjoy award-winning films and lively college-level discussions led by an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) professor, affiliate of Sonoma State University.

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Edit your movies and video clips using iMovie. Learn how to select, add, move, and trim clips as well as other topics based on time and the interest of the group.

This class can be repeated multiple times.

Learn how to navigate library computers using Windows operating system. We will save, find, and delete files and folders.

Computers will be provided.

Stop by and learn the basics of how to check out and use the camera library, how to operate a Canon T7i DSLR, camera, or just ask any questions you have about audio and video.

Ask questions, get tips, learn something new!

Meets the second Tuesday of the month from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Drop by the After School Hang Out to study, play games, or just chill with your peers! Laptops and board games will be available to use. For Grades 6-12.

Join us for our Cocoa Read Aloud Book Club! During the book club we'll also create a miniature ocean environment in a clear jar to take home. 

This is a read aloud group for kids in kindergarten to third grade.

Sit & Stitch is offered the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. You can drop in for any amount of time. In January you may continue needle felting. We have all of the supplies.
