Dress to get messy and join us for crafts aimed at toddlers through age 5.

Celebrate the rich cultural traditions of West Africa with local educator Tyehimba Kokayi! Explore engaging rhythms, songs, and energetic dance moves. Recommended for grades K-6. This event will take place in Craft Room 1.

Gain confidence in speaking French in a supportive and friendly setting. Our French conversation circle is for adults who wish to practice speaking French and improve conversational skills.

Learn sewing basics: from how to use a machine, thread a needle and complete a simple project each week. We welcome everybody who wants to learn sewing skills, make new friends, and create.

Come and read aloud to the dogs of the Humane Society of Sonoma County. These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories! Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space. 

Join the Sonoma Vietnamese Association Lion Dance Team as they welcome the Year of the Snake! In Vietnam, lion dancing combines martial arts with folk dancing in order to mimic the animal’s movements. For all ages.

Stop by and learn the basics of how to check out and use the camera library, how to operate a Canon T7i DSLR, camera, or just ask any questions you have about audio and video.

Do you want to volunteer at the library? Every Wednesday we offer weekly drop-in volunteer hours from 3:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers assist with library tasks. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service! 

S.T.E.A.M. activities and games in Spanish every Thursday.

Game On! At the Guerneville Library is a weekly video game club on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 PM. Join other teens to play games available for checkout through the library and playable on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. 

Practice reading aloud with Sammy, a golden retriever with Paws as Loving Support (PALS). Young readers will need to come about 10 minutes before 4:00 to sign up for a reading time during the hour that Sammy is here.

Come hang out at the library after school - work on homework, spend time with friends, and play videogames on the big screen. We'll provide tables and chairs, office supplies, games, and laptops. Grades 7-12.

First Chapter Book Club

Read along with a children's librarian and take home a free book every month! Snacks provided. Free! For grades 1-3.

Quilts by members of the Moonlight Quilters of Sonoma County will be on display at the Rincon Valley from January 29 to April 30, 2025.

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.
