Appointments are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 1-4pm, by reservation. Limited to 1 station per day, one appointment per week, per library card holder.

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program at the Sonoma Valley Library!

This event is for beginning readers. 

Bring your extra plants, seedlings, and cuttings to the library to share and exchange with the gardening community! 

Note: Plant quantities based on what is brought in to share.

Read to a Dog

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Come and read aloud to the dogs of the Humane Society of Sonoma County. These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories! Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.
