Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

Book Buddies is for kids in grades K-3 and takes place at the Healdsburg Elementary School Library Learning Commons.

Inspiring artist Amanda Ayala presents this inclusive art workshop for all ages and abilities. Express yourself through color, paint and paper to create fantastic collages in celebration of Day of the Child! Call us to register.

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program

Do you want to volunteer at the library? Every Wednesday we offer weekly drop-in volunteer hours from 3:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers assist with library tasks. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service! 

Discover a new country through trivia, and the best snacks and candies they have to offer.

We provide the treats, you bring a spirit of adventure and curiosity about the world!

For grades 7-12.

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.

Are you curious about zines? Have you always wanted to make one, but felt too intimidated to try?

Practice reading with a 4PAWS certified therapy dog to improve reading skills and confidence.

Let’s Read Together in Community! Join us for our final Take Time to Read event with author and illustrator Raúl the Third at Little Saint, 25 North Street. 

This outdoor, in-person event will feature tabling by more than 75 local zine-makers, artists, and creators; hands-on crafts; live screen-printing; and zine-making workshop.

A Grand Love: Stories for Grandparents of Transgender Grandchildren is a book of personal stories and observations from the perspectives of the author, grandparents of transgender grandchildren, and transgender people themselves.&nbs

Come and read aloud to the dogs of the Humane Society of Sonoma County. These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories! Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space. 

Learn sewing: from how to use a machine, thread a needle, and simple quilting. We welcome anybody who wants to learn sewing skills, make new friends, and create.

Stop by and learn the basics of how to check out and use the camera library, how to operate a Canon T7i DSLR, camera, or just ask any questions you have about audio and video.
