Book Buddies is a reading program that pairs students in grades TK-3 with a teen buddy to read together. Children may read in any language they’d prefer.

Are you a curious student who wants to learn computer programming? Or are you an intermediate coder who is looking to take their skills to the next level?

Come and read aloud to the dogs of the Humane Society of Sonoma County. These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories! Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). 

These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

PLEASE REGISTER ON THE SEPTEMBER 7th CALENDAR DATE ONLY.

Bring gently used puzzles to share with fellow puzzle lovers, complete a puzzle in community, and take home a new puzzle to enjoy!

Please ensure puzzles contain all their pieces. Bringing a puzzle is not necessary to participate.

Learn quilting basics. We welcome everybody who wants to learn basic quilting skills, make new friends, and create.

Stop by and learn the basics of how to check out and use the camera library, how to operate a Canon T7i DSLR, camera, or just ask any questions you have about audio and video.

Ask questions, get tips, learn something new!

If you enjoy Legos, problem solving, and working with kids, consider volunteering for our Lego Club & Rubik's Cube Corner.

Join us for Lego Club and Rubik's Cube Corner for hands on engineering, problem solving exercise, and play using age-appropriate materials.

Younger siblings are welcome to attend and use our collection of duplo bricks.

"Chapter Chats" 4th-6th Grade Book Club 

A read-together book club for kids. Participants will checkout a new book to read at every meeting. Snacks provided. Free!

Practice reading aloud with one of the sweet dogs from Paws as Loving Support (PALS). Young readers will sign up for a reading time during the hour that our dog team is here.

Volunteering at the library is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the work environment, support a worthwhile cause, or fulfill community service requirements.

Join the Joe Mesics' Literary Canon book club! This month we are discussing Vines in the Sun by Idwal Jones.

Early Readers Book Club Grades K-2

Join us for a fun monthly series to
support reading fluency for emerging readers.
Children and their caregivers will follow along with
their own book as the librarian reads aloud.

Do you want to volunteer at the library? Every Wednesday we offer a weekly drop-in volunteer hours from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, where teen volunteers assist with library programs. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service!

Join us for Baby & Toddler Storytime! We will have stories, songs, movement, and fun!
