Teen Knitting Club (Grades 7-12)

Wednesdays, 4-5:30pm

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.

Artful Play sparks curiosity and encourages problem solving through art. With an emphasis on creativity, Artful Play offers a fun, enriching experience, led by a Sonoma Art School instructor. For grades K-6. Please register to save a spot.

Join us for a monthly Role Playing Game Club for tweens and teens on the third Thursday of every month from 4-5pm.

For Tweens and Teens (grades 4-12)

Games will be run by a variety of Librarian and Teen DMs.

Decorate a canvas tote bag using fabric paint and rhinestones! All materials provided.

Come and craft at Roseland Regional Library every Friday from 4:30-5:30pm! Each week there will be a different craft for teens to do, so bring your creative minds. Snacks and all materials will be provided. 

This program is presented in Spanish.

Artists from The Redwood Guild of Fiber Arts will teach basic weaving using looms and yarn.

Join us in our walking entry at the Butter & Egg Days Parade as we envision the "Petaluma Library in Wonderland!" Come costumed for an Alice in Wonderland theme, in book-related attire, or wear a white shirt and we will provide a costume.

The first step to learning calligraphy is getting familiar with your tools and materials.

Learn about fibersheds, the difference between natural and synthetic fibers and yarn, basic loom anatomy, and how to weave in this workshop.

All materials provided. 

Learn sewing: from how to use a machine, thread a needle, and simple quilting. We welcome anybody who wants to learn sewing skills, make new friends, and create.

This program is presented in Spanish.

Join us as we use acrylic markers and paint to paint rocks!

Teen Anime Club  (for Teens)

Come join other Anime fans every 4th Wednesday of the month at 3-4pm!

Come meet other Teens who enjoy watching Anime and discussing Manga.

You are already brilliant! You are already an artist! Enjoy the process of discovery and drawing. This event is for all ages and abilities.

Use fabric markers and stencils to create a custom pillowcase in English or Spanish to take home. 

Grades 3-6. Register to save your spot.
