Book Buddies is for kids in grades K-3 and takes place at the Healdsburg Elementary School Library Learning Commons.

Teen Anime Club  (for Teens)

Come join other Anime fans every 4th Wednesday of the month at 3-4pm!

Come meet other Teens who enjoy watching Anime and discussing Manga.

You are already brilliant! You are already an artist! Enjoy the process of discovery and drawing. This event is for all ages and abilities. 

All ages welcome!

No experienced necessary. Some instruction available. Play, learn and enjoy!

Have you ever dreamed of writing a comic strip, or comedy show? Then this workshop is for you! These hands-on activities will make even the not-so-funny, funny. 

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Sonoma Water’s Water and Energy Program will teach how to generate electricity from the sun and wind without pollution, featuring fun activities and expert answers to all your questions! 

All materials provided. Grades K-6.

Do you want to volunteer at the library? Every Wednesday we offer weekly drop-in volunteer hours from 3:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers assist with library tasks. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service! 

Play chess at the Northwest Library Teen Chess Club. 

All level of players are welcome. 

Learn how to play, improve memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills. 

Members of the public are welcome to attend the Petaluma Library Advisory Board (LAB) which meets quarterly on the 4th Thursday of January, April, July, and October at 4:00 PM.

Teen Knitting Club (Grades 7-12)

Wednesdays, 4-5:30pm

Practice English or Spanish and help other learners in a friendly atmosphere.

Beginners welcome.

This event will be in Room 4 of the Healdsburg Community Center.

Join scholarships advisor Becca Lippman for interactive workshops that teach students and parents how to find, apply for, and manage scholarships. For grades 9-12. Pre-register to receive a reminder email.

This 10-week course will provide help to people from all over the world who want to become legal permanent U.S. citizens by taking the citizenship exam. This class is offered in Spanish.

Get started recording a song, podcast or story using GarageBand. Learn the basics of how to use the hardware and software in the sound studio.
