Beginning Readers Welcome!

Practice reading with a 4PAWS certified therapy dog to improve reading skills and confidence.

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at the Cazadero History Learning Center.

Join us at Lego & Build Club for hands on engineering, problem solving exercises, and play using age-appropriate materials. Younger siblings are welcome to attend and use our collection of Duplo bricks.

Join other 4-6th graders to read and discuss a graphic novel every month. Copies of this month's title are available at the Sebastopol Library for check-out to be read before the monthly meeting. 

The Sonoma Valley Regional Library's Mystery Book Club is back on the 1st Thursday of every month!  Pick up a copy of each month's book at the Sonoma Valley Branch while supplies last.  Then, please come and discuss it with us.  We

Have a nagging tech question? Need help borrowing an eBook? What about setting up an email account? Book 30-minutes with Northwest Reference staff for one-on-one assistance.

Get assistance from experienced Sonoma County Genealogical Society volunteers every Wednesday and Friday, 1 PM - 3 PM. 

Register for a 3-hour appointment to digitize your documents and photos, slides and negatives.

Register for up to 3 hours to DIY-digitize your VHS tapes.

Appointments are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 1-4pm, by reservation. Limited to 1 station per day, one appointment per week, per library card holder.

A celebration of reading, music, and culture!

This loose knit group of musicians gathers approximately monthly to play and share the style of swing music made famous by Django Reinhardt.

Revel in traditional songs from the Balkans, Caucasus, and Slavic lands, then add your voice with community singing exercises.

Come and read aloud to the dogs of the Humane Society of Sonoma County. These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories! Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space. 

Experience excerpts from “King’s Dream Fifty Years On,” a musical production about the hopes, dreams, and triumphs of the struggle for human rights in America.

It's time for our very first 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Graduation Party on Sunday, June 8th at 2:30pm.

Get started recording a song, podcast, or story using GarageBand. Learn the basics of how to use the hardware and software in the sound studio. 

Advanced registration required. Maximum of 3 participants.

Go on a wild adventure with rescued animals! Meet amazing creatures, from alligators to kangaroo joeys. Animals rotate at each location, offering a new learning experience with every visit.
