Petaluma Conversations invites all residents to a series of community dialogues every Tuesday in May at 5:30 PM at the Petaluma Community Center.

Join us on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM as we discuss a different contemporary novel or nonfiction work.

Print Copies are available in the branch a month in advance.

Learn to knit basic stitches to make fun and useful projects.

Needles and yarn are supplied. Sessions include a simple pattern for you to keep and practice on.

Babytime is from 10:30-11:00am - Stay and Play from 11:00-11:30!

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Come hang out at the library afterschool!  Work on homework, socialize with friends, do arts and crafts and more. We'll provide tables and chairs, office supplies, some board games, and basic arts and crafts supplies.

Enjoy a movie and much on some popcorn!

Edit your movies and video clips using iMovie. Learn how to select, add, move, and trim clips as well as other topics based on time and the interest of the group.

This class can be repeated multiple times.

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Drop by the After School Hang Out to study, play games, or just chill with your peers! Laptops and board games will be available to use. For Grades 6-12.

First through third graders read along with a children's librarian!

When you register and arrive at the library for the First Chapter Book Club, there will be copies of giveaway books for you to keep.

Color and construct your own geometric forms using 3D coloring sheets on light weight card stock. All materials provided.

Hangout Club: Crafting Lounge (for Teens and Tweens)

Join us for an afternoon of crafts and fun!

Come craft every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Forum Room.

Drop in anytime between 3-4pm.

Enjoy a Spanish program of creative projects in a fun atmosphere. Led by Elsa Tapia.

This is an inclusive family event.
