Volunteering at the library is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the work environment, support a worthwhile cause, or fulfill community service requirements.

Drop by after school to study, play games, or just hang out. Laptops and board games will be available to use. For Grades 7-12.

BABYTIME

Join us at Petaluma Regional Library for Babytime! We'll read, sing, bounce, tickle, and play music. This program is intended for babies and their caregivers.

Join us for hands on engineering, problem solving and play using building bricks (ex: Legos, Duplos, KEVA Planks) on the first Tuesday of every month.  

When you arrive at the library for the First Chapter Book Club, Librarian Serena will have copies of the book we will read as well as snacks. Children can read aloud, read along, or just listen and enjoy.

Monthly meetup on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:00-7:30 PM 

Sonoma County Zine Club is a collaborative space to create and share zines in community.

¡Listo a Leer! ! is a series of six workshops in Spanish designed to develop literacy skills for families with children ages 2-5.

This program is presented in Spanish.

Join the Children's Librarian and other families in the community room for stories, rhymes, songs, games and simple crafts. Be prepared to wiggle, learn and have fun!

Local volunteer attorneys offer free legal information and referral for matters of family law only. These lawyer consultations will last up to 20 minutes. 

Get assistance from experienced Sonoma County Genealogical Society volunteers every Wednesday and Friday, 1 PM - 3 PM. 

Join Rincon Valley Librarians on the 2nd Wednesday of every month to discuss fiction and non-fiction books!

Pick up a copy of this month's selection at the Reference Desk while supplies last.

Edit your movies and video clips using iMovie. Learn how to select, add, move, and trim clips as well as other topics based on time and the interest of the group.

This class can be repeated multiple times.

Read to a Dog

Game On! is a videogame meetup for students in grades 7-12. Join other teens and tweens to play board games and Nintendo Switch. Snacks provided!

Enjoy a Spanish program of creative projects in a fun atmosphere. Led by Elsa Tapia.

This is an inclusive family event.

Build your own haunted gingerbread house, using festive candy, icing, and other tasty decorations. Grades 7-12.

All ages welcome!

Do you want to volunteer at the library? Every Wednesday we offer a weekly drop-in volunteer hours from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, where teen volunteers assist with library programs. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service!

Discover the joy of social dance—a skill that lasts a lifetime! In this fun, beginner-friendly class, teens will learn popular partner styles while building confidence, connection, and rhythm. No experience or partner needed.
