Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Come hang out at the library afterschool!  Work on homework, socialize with friends, do arts and crafts and more. We'll provide tables and chairs, office supplies, some board games, and basic arts and crafts supplies.

Kids and teens fostering a love of reading—together!

Book Buddies is for kids in grades K-3 and takes place at the Healdsburg Elementary School Library Learning Commons. 

Session 1: 3PM-3:30PM
Session 2: 3:45PM-4:15PM

Make a mini-comic or zine to take home.

This program is presented in Spanish and is for all ages and abilities. 

All ages welcome!

No experienced necessary. Some instruction available. Play, learn and enjoy!

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.

Our bilingual pajama storytime is inclusive and for all ages. Come in pajamas and enjoy stories and songs in Spanish and English.

This event is for beginning readers. 

Read a story to a dog!

Artful Play sparks curiosity and encourages problem solving through art. With an emphasis on creativity, Artful Play offers a fun, enriching experience, led by a Sonoma Art School instructor. For grades K-6. Please register to save a spot.

Join us at Lego & Build Club for hands on engineering, problem solving exercises, and play using age-appropriate materials. Younger siblings are welcome to attend and use our collection of Duplo bricks.

Join other 4-6th graders to read and discuss a graphic novel every month. Copies of this month's title are available at the Sebastopol Library for check-out to be read before the monthly meeting.

Sonoma Water’s Water and Energy Program will teach how to generate electricity from the sun and wind without pollution, featuring fun activities and expert answers to all your questions! 

All materials provided. Grades K-6.

Join us for a special storytime celebrating the importance of family, diversity, and community. Parents, caregivers, and guardians are welcome to bring their children for an hour of stories, crafts, and exploring what it means to be a family.
