APRIL Let’s Talk English Conversation Classes on THURSDAYS 1:00 – 2:30 pm 

First Class Meets: APRIL 4, 2024 at 01:00 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada) 

Register for a 3-hour appointment to digitize your documents and photos, slides and negatives.

Register for up to 3 hours to DIY-digitize your VHS tapes.

Appointments are available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 1-4pm, by reservation. Limited to 1 station per day, one appointment per week, per library card holder.

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at the Monte Rio Community Center. 

Drop by the Game Lounge to play video games, study, or just hang with your peers!

Laptops, iPads, and board games will be available to use.

Practice reading with a 4PAWS certified therapy dog to improve reading skills and confidence.

In this re-envisioning of Teen Time at the library, we will meet on Thursdays at 3:30 PM in the community room to chill! Every week we will feature a new kind of snack, along with the usual snacks and drinks.

Do you need volunteer hours? Every Thursday we offer a weekly drop-in volunteer hour from 3:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers can assist with library events. Come and earn one or two hours of volunteer service!

Yoga is a fun way to improve your physical and mental well-being. Classes are conducted in Spanish and English by Sara Gagnon. Beginners welcome! For grades 7-12.

Celebrate Día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day)!

Check out this book club for kids who are just beginning to read chapter books. We'll flip through the book with the Children's Librarian and discuss characters and plot lines and then read the first chapter or two together.

Themes change every month! Every other month is D&D (Dungeons and Dragons)

Join us at Lego & Build Club for hands on engineering, problem solving exercises, and play using age-appropriate materials. Younger siblings are welcome to attend and use our collection of Duplo bricks.
