Local nonprofit Better Beginnings for Babies will host these dynamic community circles supporting infant feeding and the postpartum journey. Everyone gets a chance to share. Facilitated by lactation specialists or consultants. No fee.

Drop in from 3:00-4:00pm on Tuesdays and play games with other kids. Options include various board games, Nintendo Switch, and computers. Free snacks!  

Let’s dream together! Create a mini art piece while learning about Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision for equality, justice, and community. Tweens’ finished pieces will be displayed at each hosting library during Black History Month. 

Transform the pages of an old book into a beautiful 3D heart shape in this hands-on workshop for tweens. All materials provided.

Grades 4-6.

Delve into a dungeon with other teenage heroes in a weekly game of D&D Adventurers League for Teens at the Guerneville Library (grades 7-12).

We offer Homework Help to students in grades K-12 on Tuesdays from 3:30PM -5:30PM at the library. 

BABYTIME

Join us at Petaluma Regional Library for Babytime! We'll read, sing, bounce, tickle, and play music. This program is intended for babies and their caregivers.

Practice reading aloud with Sammy, a golden retriever with Paws as Loving Support (PALS). Young readers will need to come about 10 minutes before 4:00 to sign up for a reading time during the hour that Sammy is here.

Come hang out at the library after school - work on homework, spend time with friends, and play videogames on the big screen. We'll provide tables and chairs, office supplies, games, and laptops. Grades 7-12.

When you register and arrive at the library for the First Chapter Book Club, Librarian Serena will have copies of the book we will read and a snack. Children can read aloud, read along, or just listen and enjoy.

Help Sonoma County birds build their nests by building your own bird nesting materials dispenser! Safe, all-natural materials provided. For grades K-6.

Join us every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm for fun family evening storytime (for ages 0-7)
