Read to a Dog
Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.
Children 8 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or childcare provider.
Drop by the After School Hang Out to study, play games, or just chill with your peers! Laptops and board games will be available to use. For Grades 6-12.
Drop in from 2:30-4:30 on Wednesdays and play games with other teens. Options include Pokemon Trading Card Game, chess, Exploding Kittens, Uno, Connect 4, Organ Attack, Wordle Party Game, Scrabble, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and more. Free snacks!
Hangout Club: Game On (for Teens and Tweens)
Drop in between 3-4pm every 1st Wednesday of the month for gaming.

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program
Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.
Join a group of fellow teenagers in supporting the right to read by delving into some of America's most frequently banned books. Rather than reading the same book, participants are encouraged to choose a different title to explore each month.
Advance registration encouraged, but not required, in order to receive an email reminder about the event. Supplies are limited!
If the room meets maximum capacity, we will admit entrance on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wednesdays, 4-5:30pm
Do you need volunteer hours? Every Wednesday we offer a weekly drop-in volunteer hour from 4:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers can assist with various library tasks.

Celebrate Women's History Month! Join us for a discussion, led by author Janna Barkin, featuring panelists who will share their experience and perspectives as transgender women. This program will support, educate, and inspire anyone who attends.

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.
