Read to a Dog

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Join us to discuss this book IN-PERSON at the Rincon Valley Library. Pick up a copy of this month's selection at the Reference Desk while supplies last.

January 11 Evicted

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

A fun event for players of the Pokémon trading card game! Beginner-friendly, free and open to the public. The library has a limited number of battle decks and play mats for those who need them. Snacks provided.

Hangout Club: Crafting Lounge (for Teens and Tweens)

Join us for an afternoon of crafts and fun!

Come craft every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Forum Room.

Drop in anytime between 2:30-4pm.

Teens and tweens can drop in between 3:00-4:30 pm every 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesday of the month for gaming!

Come by the library for free school supplies, quick crafts and activities! For students in Kindergarten-12^th grade. 

All materials are free. One set per student, child/children must be present.

All ages welcome!

No experienced necessary.

Limited boards available - bring an extra if you have one!

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program

This event is for beginning readers to build confidence by reading a story to a dog!

Join us as a beginner or an experienced knitter who wants to learn new techniques, make new friends, and help other students.

Students K-12 receive play money to spend on a real backpack/school supplies to keep and decorate. 

The Sebastopol Library Advisory Board meets on the last Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 4:30 pm. Meetings are held at the Sebastopol Regional Library, 7140 Bodega Avenue, Sebastopol, CA 95472.

Free, weekly in-person citizenship tutoring to support participants preparing for the English US Naturalization Exam. Participate in mock interviews, practice English writing and reading skills, and review the 100 civic questions.

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at Harvest Grove Apartments. 

This 7-week course will provide help to people from all over the world who want to become legal permanent U.S. citizens by taking the citizenship exam. This class is offered in Spanish.

Join the Joe Mesics' Literary Canon book group to discuss "Never Let Me Go" by Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro.
