An evening of reflection and celebration featuring the Social Justice Sewing Academy, The Remembrance Project, Artist’s Talk with Social Justice Sewing Academy founder Sara Trail, book signing with Sara Trail, The Sonoma County Library BiblioBus, Chef Stéphane Saint Louis of Table Culture Provisions, U.S. Congressman Mike Thompson, Sonoma County Supervisor Susan Gorin, local elected leaders, community leaders, and the people you know from so many other, wonderful community events at the Sonoma Community Center.
The mobile tech hub of the county library system on hand with books and media related to Juneteenth, Emancipation, and the enormous, foundational influence of African Americans on the U.S. economy, its agriculture, foodways, cuisine, music, art, and culture, all ready for check out.
