Art Show Reception: On The Wall, Off the Wall

Join us at Sebastopol Regional Library from 2-4pm and meet the artist of On the Wall, Off the Wall, a collection of abstract acrylic paintings and Cape Verdean documentary photos, on display in the library forum room September 24, 2024, through November 16, 2024. Enjoy refreshments, conversation and art.

About the Artist:

Eleven years ago at age 70 these wildly abstract acrylic paintings were created by local artist Batra Nĵana Schmidt. Her artistic temperament led to documentary photography. A Creola soul guided the Kodak camera capturing her beloved Cape Verdean culture.
