Santa Rosa Zine Fest: Intro to Zines with Luminescent Squid

Ren and Athena provide insight into their process as zine makers and the modern world of zines and its history. They will teach zine-making techniques and provide materials for workshop attendees to create their own. The workshop will be a low-pressure space to create and share with others!

Luminescent Squid Zine is a vessel for Athena (she/they) and Ren (they/them) to put their art into the world in the form of poetry, prose, collage, paint, and so so much more. Along with the work of the people in their life, they work to create a vibe of fun and silliness along with a space to express their feelings throughout life.
