LUMACON ONLY Petaluma Teen Volunteer Orientation

THIS IS A SPECIAL VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION FOR HELPING AT LUMACON 2023!  You must be able to get transportation to and from Luchessi Center on January 28, 2023 and will be expected to work the event.  The event runs 10 to 4 and volunteers will be expected to be there 9 to 5 with an hour break for lunch.  This will give you 8 hours of volunteer time in one day!  More orientations for normal library volunteering will follow soon.  Bring the attached Volunteer Packet signed by both you and your parent/guardian to the orientation.  If you cannot print it, pick-up a packet at the library reference desk.  Orientation will go over the rules of volunteering, possible tasks you can help with, and a short in-person interview with the Teen Librarian.  Orientation will count as your first hour volunteering.  Volunteering should be treated with the same respect as you would a paid job.  Meet at the adult reference desk with your signed forms at the start of orientation.  We look forward to working together!
