Join us in the discussion of Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo

We meet once a month on the first Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm. This is a hybrid event. You may join us at the library or via zoom.

Summary of this month's book: Teeming with life and crackling with energy — a love song to modern Britain and black womanhood. Girl, Woman, Other follows the lives and struggles of twelve very different characters. Mostly women, black and British, they tell the stories of their families, friends and lovers, across the country and through the years. Joyfully polyphonic and vibrantly contemporary, this is a gloriously new kind of history, a novel of our times: celebratory, ever-dynamic and utterly irresistible.

To take part in the discussion, please email dromeo@sonomalibrary.org or register for this event. You should receive an email confirming your participation and another email closer to the event with a link if you choose to join us virtually.

* Books are available at the Healdsburg Regional Library
