The Asian Art Museum presents: Lunar New Year, Water Rabbit

Lanterns and couplets. Dragons and oranges. Red envelopes and housecleaning. Learn about the fascinating and colorful traditions, and the symbolic foods which enrich the celebration of the Lunar New Year throughout Asian cultures.

January 22nd on the Gregorian calendar marks the beginning of the year of the Water Rabbit, year 4721 on the Chinese calendar.
