RJ SIMON (pronouns: he/beefcake)
Hey I'm RJ (He/Beefcake) I'm a doodledreamer. I've been drawing since I was very small and my early influences were magical girl animes, horror movies and Kung Fu. Who doesn't love big action and bright colors? My classical training is in oil and acrylics but still heavily leaning towards the graphic novel spectrum of creating. I'm stoked to use zines to get these exciting pictures out of my brain to share with friends FASTER.
AMANDA AYALA (pronouns: she/her/ella)
Amanda Ayala is a Xicana Indigenous woman who was born and raised in Santa Rosa. She has ancestral roots in Sonora, Jalisco, and Michoacán Mexico. She has worked extensively with her community to create spaces of refuge for creativity, connection, and healing. She enjoys painting and facilitates workshops on art, ancestral connection and social justice. She uses creativity as a way to communicate and envision a future centered on Indigenous teachings. Amanda is inspired by her family, ancestors & animas, bright watery colors, being with large groups of people who move together and the 7 organizational principles of the EZLN and CNI.
