Join the Children's Librarian and community families in the forum room for stories, rhymes, songs, games and simple crafts. Be prepared to wiggle, learn and have fun!

Get assistance from experienced Sonoma County Genealogical Society volunteers every Wednesday and Friday, 1 PM - 3 PM. 

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Come hang out at the library afterschool!  Work on homework, socialize with friends, do arts and crafts and more. We'll provide tables and chairs, office supplies, some board games, and basic arts and crafts supplies.

Discover a new country every month through music, trivia, and the best snacks and candies they have to offer. We provide the treats, you bring a spirit of adventure and curiosity about the world!

Read to a Dog

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Drop by the After School Hang Out to study, play games, or just chill with your peers! Laptops and board games will be available to use. For Grades 6-12.

We will make bright tissue paper flowers to take home. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to this inclusive program.

Hangout Club: Game On (for Teens and Tweens)

Drop in between 3-4pm every 1st Wednesday of the month for gaming.

All ages welcome!

No experienced necessary. Some instruction available. Play, learn and enjoy!

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program

Play chess at the Northwest Library Teen Chess Club. 

All level of players are welcome. 

Learn how to play, improve memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills. 

Practice English or Spanish and help other learners in a friendly atmosphere.

Beginners welcome.

This event will be in Room 4 of the Healdsburg Community Center.

This course presents the current American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and National Standard for adult, child, and infant CPR and choking, as well as AED use. Grades 7-12.

Have a nagging tech question? Need help borrowing an eBook? What about setting up an email account? Book 30-minutes with Northwest Reference staff for one-on-one assistance.

Local volunteer attorneys offer free legal information and referral for general law matters. These lawyer consultations will last up to 20 minutes. 

Create a Gmail account and learn how to perform basic email functions like send, receive, and reply to an email. Also learn how to organize, delete, and search for emails.

Computers will be provided.

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.

The Rohnert Park – Cotati Library hosts library commission meetings in the Armando Flores Room.

Our bilingual pajama storytime is inclusive and for all ages. Come in pajamas and enjoy stories and songs in Spanish and English. 

This 10-week course will provide help to people from all over the world who want to become legal permanent U.S. citizens by taking the citizenship exam. This class is offered in Spanish.

Get started recording a song, podcast or story using GarageBand. Learn the basics of how to use the hardware and software in the sound studio. 

Advanced registration required. Maximum of 3 participants.
