Join the Children's Librarian and community families in the forum room for stories, rhymes, songs and simple crafts. School-age siblings are welcome to enjoy more complex stories, crafts and book talks, during this Winter Break Storytime.

Learn the ancient Asian exercise form to promote balance, relaxation, motion, health, harmony, stability, and inner power.  

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at The Living Room Life Center. 

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish.

Children build confidence in their reading skills by reading aloud in a safe space.

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Drop in from 2:30-4:30 on Wednesdays and play games with other teens. Options include Pokemon Trading Card Game, chess, Exploding Kittens, Uno, Connect 4, Organ Attack, Wordle Party Game, Scrabble, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and more. Free snacks!

Supplies and instruction will be provided to make woven crafts such as friendship bracelets. You can bring your own crafts to work on too! 

Grades 7-12.

Welcome to our Read to a Dog Program

Come and read out loud to the dogs of PALS (Paws as Loving Support). These well-trained dogs love to listen to stories in English and Spanish. 

Join a group of fellow teenagers in supporting the right to read by delving into some of America's most frequently banned books. Rather than reading the same book, participants are encouraged to choose a different title to explore each month.

Teen Knitting Club (Grades 7-12)

Wednesdays, 4-5:30pm

Led by local educator, author, and registered nurse Dr. Andrea Hall PhD and multicultural arts educator and community liaison Tina Rogers. 

Do you need volunteer hours? Every Wednesday we offer a weekly drop-in volunteer hour from 4:30pm-5:30pm, where teen volunteers can assist with various library tasks. 

Explore the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus! This mobile library will be on site at Ortiz Plaza Apartments. 

Local volunteer attorneys offer free legal information and referral for general law matters. These lawyer consultations will last up to 20 minutes. 

Learn how to knit or crochet with experts from Healdsburg's Purls of Joy co-op! Make new friends, share some snacks, and learn some handy skills in a fun, judgment-free environment.

Creativebug: Finger Knitting
Learn how to finger knit chains of yarn that can be turned into necklaces, bracelets, garlands and much more. Yarn provided.

Join us for drop-in makerspace time! The library owns several sewing machines, a serger, a Cricut, an embroidery machine, and other tools of the crafting trade.

The Rohnert Park – Cotati Library will start hosting regular library commission meetings in the Armando Flores Room. The Sonoma County Library Commission is an 11-person body responsible for governing the library.

Join us each Wednesday from 6-7:30 to sew in community.  

We have sewing machines for you to use as well as volunteers to assist and support you in your endeavors.
